When you travel north of St Andrews to the Aberdeen area, many golfers already know about Royal Aberdeen and Cruden Bay. But the wonderful golf course between these great courses, is Murcar Golf Links. It is a delightful course at a much lower green fee than the other two famous courses. It actually borders onto Royal Aberdeen. This photo of Murcar is looking north on the 3rd from next to the 10th tee at Royal Aberdeen. This course was used by the R&A in July 2005 for Senior British Open qualifying.
